HOW TO USE & POSITION

Head Support: Place centered under the occiput; align the long edge with the patient’s shoulders for neutral cervical alignment.

Arm/Elbow Comfort: Position under the elbow or wrist when lateral stability is needed during contrast injections or lengthy scans.

Tip: Combine with MRI-safe straps or wedges to lock in optimal positioning for motion-sensitive studies.

Antimicrobial Protection: 

Contains a permanent antimicrobial agent in the fabric that prevents growth of harmful bacteria, including MRSA.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

1. Wipe down after every use with hospital-grade germicidal/tuberculocidal/fungicidal disinfectant at the manufacturer’s recommended dilution.
2. For light soil, clean with mild soap and water. Alcohol-based wipes are acceptable.
3. Avoid chlorine bleach, chlorinated cleaners, or harsh stain removers—they will degrade the surface and seams.
4. No zipper = no fluid ingress points. If the cover becomes irreversibly soiled or any seam tears, replace the pillow to maintain infection control.
